If your goal is to rev the 07k out past it’s stock limit, the OEM seals are going to let you down. It simply comes down to shaft surface speed. Many seals aren’t cut out for the task of 40+m/s or 9000+rpm mainly due to material and design. With our dual lip seal, you technically shouldn’t hit the limit till over 11,000rpm! It gives you a good safety factor even though you don’t reach that high.
If you plan on having a dry sump oil pump system, you will need these, as they will hold a vacuum unlike a single lip seal.
Fits all VW 2.5 07k engines. Contact if you have a ttrs/rs3 motor.
